Mr. Self began his reinsurance career with Burlington-based R/I, Inc. in 1987. He remained with that operation through a series of mergers and acquisitions that eventually made it part of Willis reinsurance brokers, where Mr. Self was senior vice president before joining John B. Collins Associates as senior vice president in 2001.  After Guy Carpenter’s acquisition of Collins, Scott co-founded Atlantic Intermediaries.

Mr. Self holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.

Mr. Russell began his reinsurance career in 1992 as a treaty accountant with R/I, Inc.  Through a series of mergers and acquisitions, R/I, Inc. became a part of Willis, where Mr. Russell ultimately served as senior vice president with reinsurance production brokerage responsibilities before leaving in 2001 to join John B. Collins Associates, Inc. as senior vice president.  After Guy Carpenter’s acquisition of Collins, Geoff co-founded Atlantic Intermediaries.
